| Abstract | This study assesses the Water Supply, Sanitation, and Hygiene Promotion (WASH Program) in selected elementary schools in Camarines Sur, Philippines, focusing on water management, sanitation, hygiene practices, health education, and deworming. Using a convergent parallel mixed-methods approach, the study examined the implementation of DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2016, Policy and Guidelines for the Comprehensive WASH in Schools (WINS) Program during the 2023–2024 academic year. Findings indicate that schools generally comply with WASH standards, particularly in water management and health education. However, gaps in sanitation, hygiene practices, and deworming compliance weakened by the pandemic highlighting the need for improvements in facilities and practices. Strengthening WASH programs is recommended to support sustainable development goals related to education and health. |
