Abstract Heterocyclic compounds have garnered significant attention in synthetic and medicinal chemistry. This paper we tried to explore the nitrogen containing heterocyclic compound particularly Quinoxaline and its derivatives. This paper reviews a collection of modern and classical methods for the synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives.
