| Abstract | As Internet usage is rising day by daysecurity has become a vital facet to the Internetworld. Security of the website in today’s world isvery important. Vulnerability assessment and thepenetration test are two different vulnerability tests. This testing hasmuch strength and is oftencombined to gaina more complete analysis ofvulnerabilities. Penetration TestingandVulnerability Assessments execute twodifferent tasks, usuallywith distinctive outcomes, within the same area of application.For anyorganization, proper working of securityarrangement ischecked by VulnerabilityAssessment and Penetration Testing. Webapplications are vulnerable to attacks, such as theoperation of sessions,Scenarios of the transversesite, SQL injection, making the length of the cross-demand,boofer above flows and poor safetyconfiguration, etc.Described in Open WebApplication Security Project Top 10. A Can bemanually penetrated or automatically testeddepends on the vulnerability. A comparison will be madebetween these two tests. |
