| Abstract | Background Childhood cancer has a profound impact on children’s overall quality of life and creates considerable emotional, psychological, and caregiving stress for mothers, who often assume the primary caregiving role. In paediatric oncology, gaining insight into mothers’ views of their child’s well-being, along with their expectations of palliative care, is crucial for providing comprehensive and family-centred care. Despite this need, there is a scarcity of evidence from Indian tertiary care hospitals that simultaneously explores outcome measures and palliative care expectations through a mixed-methods perspective. |
