| Abstract | Background: Seizure disorders in children are chronic neurological conditions that affect not only the child’s physical health but also their psychosocial, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Mothers, as primary caregivers, play a crucial role in managing the child’s illness while coping with emotional stress, caregiving burdens, and societal stigma. Understanding mothers’ Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREM) is essential to evaluate the quality of care, support systems, and overall caregiving experience in a tertiary care setting. Examining both quantitative quality-of-life outcomes and qualitative lived experiences provides a comprehensive understanding of mothers’ perspectives in managing childhood seizure disorders. |
