Abstract | This research paper examines the transformative impact of laboratory automation on healthcare service quality and patient experience. The study employs descriptive methodology to analyze the implementation of automated systems in clinical laboratories across multiple healthcare institutions. Findings indicate that laboratory automation has significantly reduced turnaround times, decreased error rates, and enhanced patient satisfaction through more accurate and timely test results. The research demonstrates that automated systems have revolutionized laboratory workflows, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving patient outcomes. The study mainly focuses on the period between 2000 and 2013, during which laboratory automation underwent substantial development and widespread adoption in clinical settings. |
