| Abstract | This review paper explores the profound impact of war on mental health, specifically focusing on the consequence of military sexual trauma, rape and sexual harassment within the military context during times of conflict. Examining the often-overlooked aspect of sexual violence against men, this study aims to comprehensively understand and address the mental health implications of such experiences. The comparison encompasses the varied channels through which violence is experienced, including gender disparities. The findings contribute to the broader discourse on the intersectionality of war-related trauma and its repercussions on mental well-being. |
