Abstract Recent studies indicate a 15% increase in student enrollment in maritime programs worldwide over the past five years, driven by targeted media campaigns and public outreach efforts, such as the IMO's #MaritimeCareers initiative. The studies help identify the media’s major contributions to developing future trends in maritime education and provide guidance on its efficiency.
