Abstract | The human resource management role is increasingly viewed as a strategic instrument for formulating and implementing organizational strategies in order to achieve organizational goals. Work has changed from a necessity for survival to an opportunity for enterprises to innovate and develop new benchmarks that will promote employee retention and personal fulfilment. To confront the difficulties of the twenty-first century, organizations place a premium on increasing revenue created by employees, a competent team, and employee commitment to attain strategic goals. Enormous companies are established on the intrinsic value of their people, as an engaged and committed workforce nearly always allows a company to develop faster than similar competitors. As a result, management's role in retaining employees' commitment to the organization's objectives is critical. Employees' impaired sensitivities often have grave effects on the smooth operation of the industry if they lose faith in the leadership's motives or acquire the feeling of being neglected in the decision-making process. In this perspective, the research paper examines the relationship between self-efficacy, self-esteem, and aspects of organizational commitment, specifically affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment, among middle-level employees in selected auto component manufacturing sectors. |
