Abstract | In this paper, a new POD controller is proposed for the UPFC to damp power system low frequency oscillations. The parameters of the POD controller are obtained using the phase compensation technique. The effectiveness of the new proposed POD controller is evaluated under different operating conditions in comparison with the classical controllers to demonstrate its robust performance through time simulation studies. |
