Abstract | 3D printing is a modern fabrication method which builds components layer by layer from digital designs. It allows for the creation different shapes and multi-material structures that are difficult to produce using traditional techniques. In this study, Digital Light Processing (DLP) was selected for its high resolution and efficiency with photopolymer resins. Two materials, Pro-BLK for rigidity and Flex-BLK for flexibility were used to print test specimens. These include tensile samples designed to evaluate mechanical properties such as strength and elongation. Hybrid structures combining both resins were also produced to study the benefits of integrating flexible and rigid materials within a single print. |
