This study examines major initiatives like the Lead Bank Scheme, RRBs, KCC, SHG-Bank Linkage, and PMJDY, highlighting their impact on credit access, entrepreneurship, and rural livelihoods. It also addresses challenges such as low financial literacy, poor infrastructure, and policy gaps. The paper emphasizes the need for reforms, digitalization, and financial education to strengthen rural banking and support sustainable development |
