Abstract Business analytics has emerged as a game-changer in supply chain management (SCM), enabling organizations to optimize operations through data-driven insights. According to recent reports, the Indian analytics industry is expected to grow rapidly, with estimations suggesting it could reach a size of US$16 billion by 2025, marking a significant eightfold increase from its current value, driven by increased adoption of AI, machine learning, and data-driven technologies across various sectors; this positions India as a potential global hub for analytics solution. This paper explores the crucial role of business analytics in SCM, highlighting its impact on demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics optimization, supplier performance evaluation, and risk mitigation. The integration of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics enhances decision-making, reduces costs, and improves overall efficiency. With advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning, business analytics continues to drive supply chain innovation, ensuring organizations remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global market.
