| Abstract | Dr. Biman Mitra is a distinguished educationist who began his professional journey as a school teacher and now working as a Professor in a Government B.Ed. Colleges for many years. At present, he is working as an Associate Professor. His contribution to the field of education is multidimensional—covering teaching, research, writing, and educational leadership. With over 30 published research papers in reputed international journals and several books on education, Dr. Biman Mitra has significantly influenced the academic and intellectual discourse in education. This paper explores his academic journey, his research contributions, and his role as a mentor and author in shaping the domain of teacher education in India. |
