| Abstract | Special education plays a crucial role in ensuring equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilities by recognizing their diverse needs and providing tailored instructional strategies that meet these needs. This paper examines the importance of individualized education plans (IEPs), differentiated instruction, and inclusive teaching practices in fostering academic, social, and emotional development. It emphasizes the importance of early intervention, assistive technologies, and collaborative approaches involving teachers, parents, and specialists to create supportive learning environments. By addressing barriers to participation and fostering personalized learning experiences, special education enhances accessibility and equity in education. The discussion highlights how tailored approaches not only empower students with disabilities to achieve their full potential but also contribute to building inclusive classrooms that benefit all learners. |
