| Abstract | The legal system of India faces complex and huge challenges such as excessive case backlogs, time-consuming legal research and limited accessibility to legal resources across the country. Prior research discusses an AI-driven legal assistance platform designed to support legal document summarization, legal document classification, case law recommendation and virtual moot court applications. The system integrates Natural Language Processing, Retrieval Augmented Generation and Speech Recognition techniques to automate repetitive legal tasks. The framework aims to improve efficiency, availability and learning outcomes inside the Indian legal system. Existing evaluations report improvements in document comprehension time, retrieval accuracy and educational effectiveness, highlighting the system’s potential to modernize legal workflows in an ethical and scalable manner. |
