Abstract The Laplace transform is a powerful tool for solving differential equations. This method involves transforming a differential equation into an algebraic equation, solving for the transform, and then inverting the transform to obtain the solution. The Laplace transform is particularly useful for solving linear differential equations with constant coefficients, and it can handle discontinuous functions and impulsive inputs
