| Abstract | This study explored the relationship between teachers’ innovative work behavior, professional competence, and learners’ academic achievement in the District of Antique during the school year 2025. Using a descriptive-correlational design, the study aimed to determine the levels of teachers’ innovative work behavior and professional competence, assess learners’ academic achievement, and examine the relationships among these variables. The respondents consisted of 365 teachers selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire validated by experts and tested for reliability. Descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and standard deviation, were used to determine variable levels, while Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and multiple regression analysis examined relationships and predictive influence. Findings revealed that teachers’ innovative work behavior was implemented at a high level, particularly in idea generation, adoption of new instructional strategies, and creative lesson delivery. Professional competence was also rated high, with teachers demonstrating strong pedagogical skills, classroom management, lesson planning, and subject mastery. Learners’ academic achievement was found to be high, indicating that teachers’ innovation and competence positively influence student performance. Correlation analysis showed significant positive relationships among the three variables, and multiple regression analysis indicated that innovative work behavior and professional competence jointly predict learners’ academic achievement, with professional competence emerging as the stronger predictor. The study concludes that fostering both innovation and professional competence among teachers is essential for improving instructional effectiveness and student learning outcomes. |
